2005

John Tebenhams Ford Probe engine is rebuilt to latest spec and produces a reliable 859BHP on Julian Godfrey Engineering Superflow Dyno.

Julian Godfrey Engineering supplys engines and technical assistance to Norwiegen Rallycross team - Sverre Isochsen and Guttorm Linderjell (www.gsracing.no). Isachsens engine is now producing more than 600LB/FT of torque with a 45mm restrictor.

John Tebenham cosworth YB engine reach 7.7 seconds on a 1/4 mile drag race @ 170.5 miles an hours becoming the new world record for the fastest 4 cylinder YB cosorth engine

2004

David Higgins tests Victor baldescus Escort R WRC at the Forrest Experience in Wales. After a days sucessful testing David says, "If I had this car in the British Rally Championship I would be dissapointed not to win!!"

Dermot Carnegie wins British Rallycross Championship after a string of wins using either the unrestricted 840BHP engine or the 45mm restricted engine with 580BHP. Julian Godfrey Engineering uses this year to develope the restricted engines for the 2005 season dues to rule changes. Dermot also wins Irish Championship.

Pat retires the RS200 from rallycross as it is not coping well with the added weight penalties for unrestricted cars. He switches his attention to plans for the 2005 Season and the build of a new Ford Backed Fiesta. Julian Godfrey Engineering convert an Escort WRC to Rallycross spec and Pat uses it to develope engines and transmissions for the Fiesta.

Robert Lancenberg has his Focus Rallycross engines built at Julian Godfrey Engineering. The engines produce 575BHP with a 45mm restrictor.

Julian Godfrey Engineering`s second unit is all finished and a Superflow SF902 Dyno is installed.

2003

Julian Godfrey becomes a LTD company and now trades as Julian Godfrey Engineering LTD.

Dermot Carnegie wins British Rallycross Championship using the Ford Focus.

Pat Doran 2nd in B R D A Championship.

Henning Solberg uses Julian Godfrey Engineering engines for Norwiegen Rally championship after some promising stage times on the Rally of Finland against the Factory teams..

Rob Sherard of Virgin Airlines has an RS200 evolution engine built and produces 650BHP. Julian travels to Australia to fit the engine and tests the car at Queensway raceway.

Julian Godfrey Engineering builds WRC engine for Mark Perrots Escort. Mark makes the most of his new power and response and wins the Ancro Championship.

Julian uses his RS200 Evolution road car at Brighton Speed trials and finishes 6th overall with a time of 11.02 seconds, the only car in the top ten to drive home.

Julian Godfrey Engineering expands into 2nd unit to contain a dyno room and more car and engine preparation areas.

Pat Doran wins British Rally Cross Championship using the pully rebuilt RS200 with Engine, transmission and suspension from Julian Godfreys Engineering, engine is now producing 806BHP

Dermot Carneige claims second place using the Ford Focus with a complete arrive and arrive package. Dermot wins Irish Rallycross Championship. Colin McCrae drives DC`s Focus at the Punchestown Rallysprint, "change up at 7500 RPM Colin", "I like the sound of that!" After the stage Colin quotes "It`s quicker off the mark than the F1 cars ive driven"

Romanian Hillclimb rally driver Victor Baldescu has engines built for both his Escort rally cars. The hillclimb engine is built using for butterfly set up and produces 700BHP. The WRC engine is rebuilt and remapped and produces 373BHP.

Henning Solbergs Mitsubishi Evo 6 engine is rebuilt and remapped by JGE and produces 352BHP, Henning uses it for the 2002 rally of Finland

JGE builds Morten Osbergs Subaru engine for his 97 Subaru WRC.

Julian provides technical assistance on the 2002 Pikes Peak hillclimb for Per Ekland and his Saab 900. Per claims 2nd overall and 1st in class.
